12 " x 26". Clear glass, etched foliate and floral decorations. Smoke bell. Used in entrance hallways from the 1830s onwards. Whale oil fuel originally.

-33" long. Made from the crook of a branch as shown by all the gnarls on it.  It is very- delicate with a brass tip. It was probably made for a lady. Purchased in Jacksonville, Fla. Sept., 1998.

4" high. Carried upstairs to light the way to bed. A frugal housewife used every bit of candle , which made the push-up holder more economical than the fixed candle holder.
