Reproduction of an early 19th century lamp

The family bible was a very important to record family statistics. This one is dated 1811 and is a gift of Mary Riley Styles Public Library which is on Cherry Hill land.

c. 1850. Mahogany and brass with some inlay. It came from Annapolis area.

A child's toy. This doll is likely of German manufacture. It is a simple but nice doll for the period. It is called a "high brow" doll because of its hairstyle. Clothing is believed to be vintage reproduction using antique trim and fabric.

It was much more efficient to compress the tea into solid blocks than it was to ship lose leave. Once bought at the general store the block would be chipped to make tea.

This doll is most likely made in Germany or England. It is wax over a paper mache composition. The bulbous eyes are a characteristic of theses dolls. This doll would not have been an expensive one. The dress is not original but may be older then the…
